McDade is having it’s 76th Watermelon Festival July 12th and 13th!
Friday night is the street dance and Saturday is the parade and festival. We will be at the festival selling Vino Sandia (watermelon wine), Watermelon Coolers, Sangria, Watermelon Seltzer, and our brand new homemade Root Beer all day Saturday!

We have live music with Elisa Jade Peña on Saturday, May 4th from 4-7pm. Elisa has a beautiful voice and can sing a range of genres! She will be bringing a Tejano flare to her performance to celebrate Cinco Weekend!
Saturday and Sunday we will have the following specials:
$10 Taco Pizzas, $5 Micheladas, $5 Wine-O-Ritas

The Shop Dawgz are a very lively band with songs you know and love from “the good old days” of 80’s and 90’s classic rock music.

Elle Townley is taking the stage at Rising Sun Vineyard from 3-6pm. Elle is a wonderful young country musician with a very mature voice. Join us if you’re in the Bastrop or McDade area for a beautiful countryside view with a stunning performance.
